I can´t log on to my FTP-account?

Your FTP-client should be set up to run in "Passive mode". If not, you can not get a connection through our firewall.

This is the most commen problem, as most FTP-clients are not set to "passive mode" from installation.

Please feel free to contact our support if you need assistance.

How do I upload my website on the internet?

You need a program called an "FTP-client". This programme will transfer your website to your hosting plan on
the internet. We recommend, that you download one of the most common FTP-clients, eg. CuteFTP or WS-FTP. To log on to the FTP server, use the login informations in the email you recieved when your webhosting plan was set up. Your index.html file have to be in the public_html folder on the server

Why can´t I connect to my FTP-account?

Remember to use the login information you recieved from us when first set up.

If your domain name is not already set
up or transfered to us, you should use the servers IP-number instead of your domain as the FTP host.

Where should my files be stored?

In /public_html. If your files are not stored in the right folder, they can´t be shown on the internet.
