Mail - Outlook (Windows)

This guide is relevant for both Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013.

  1. From the menu File choose Info and then click Add Account.
  2. Choose Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
  3. Choose POP, or if you use Office 2010 Internet E-mail, and click Next.
  4. Fill in Your Name and E-mail Adresse.
  5. In Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server(SMTP) enter your [Click to find name].
    User Name is the complete e-mail address and associated password.
  6. Click More Settings and for the Outgoing Tab check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and choose Use same settings as incoming.
  7. For the Advanced tab, the following must be set:
    - Check The server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
    - Set Server Port Numbers to 587.
    - Set Use the following type of encrypted connection to TLS.
  8. Click OK, Next and Finish, and your e-mail account is now set up correctly.

If you have lost your POP3/SMTP password, you should reset it through the mail administrationen.
